Badger Designs
A branding project that encapsulates the style and personality of my work - clean, bright and funky.
The Grazing Kitchen
Cassie Rose, owner of The Grazing Kitchen, wanted a brand to encapsulate the boutique, rustic nature of her new grazing platter business. The colour scheme invokes an earthy feel, and is designed to stand out against the colour of the cardboard packaging of the platters.
Breathe Smarter
Breathe Smarter - a company developing materials and devices that can clean the air we breathe - needed a brand that reflected cleanliness, purity and trust. The dandelion motif mimics the particles that their product is designed to block, and the flower itself is a symbol for filtration.
The Call of the Peacock
The Call of the Peacock is an autobiography written by an Indian entrepreneur about his challenging journey to success. As part of work experience with Lambie-Nairn in London, I created a set of surreal and minimal book covers, experimenting with different styles but keeping to a consistent theme.
Specsavers
As part of my work experience placement at Specsavers, I developed an advertising flyer for their latest 'free eye test' campaign.
Plug-N-Go
I worked full time as head of marketing at Plug-N-Go, an electric vehicle charging startup. This is a sample of the social media and print content I developed for them on a daily basis.
Yoga Elements
Yoga Elements is a Guernsey yoga company and online store. One of my earliest projects, I was asked to design social graphics and website content.
Daniel White Health
I was asked to revamp Daniel's brand, offering professional courses and consultancy for sleep, health and nutrition. The logo invokes the shape of the human brain's information relay system.
Black Heart
Black Heart is a metal label bringing together artists from Guernsey and the UK. I was tasked with designing their logo in a style that fit with the custom of nigh-on-illegible typefaces.
Zero Carbon World
Using Squarespace, I designed the website for Zero Carbon World, a charity offering free electric vehicle charging stations in the UK to help combat the climate crisis: https://zerocarbonworld.org/
Let Em Eat Cake
A boutique cake making business run on Instagram, Let Em Eat cake needed a simple and effective logo to serve as a profile picture and branding across business cards.
Syd Bowsher
Syd ran for deputy in the 2020 Guernsey elections, and needed to stand out from the many other candidates. Unsurprisingly, he was the only Syd running, and felt that a simple, bold and colourful poster set would be effective with just his name and his key objective.
Nyasha Gwatidzo
Nyasha Gwatidzo is a serial social entrepreneur with many businesses that support important causes throughout the world, particularly in Southern Africa. I worked with her to develop a number of brands and personal projects.
Supernova
Supernova is a business promoting creativity, sustainability and innovation amongst young people, started as part of Young Enterprise Guernsey.
Té Amor
Té Amor is a premium packaged tea brand. Their brand identity was completed as part of a project whilst on work experience with The Potting Shed.
Hunstman Tailors
On a cultural trip to London in 2018, I set myself the challenge of finding an established business and reinventing their brand with a modern logomark. Huntsman Tailors' logo is the result of this project.
Elizabeth College
During my time at Elizabeth College, where I started learning graphic design, I worked on a varied array of projects. This is a sample selection of them.
30 Bays in 30 Days
At another Potting Shed work experience placement, I worked on their ongoing '30 bays in 30 days' project, encouraging families in Guernsey to get out and explore the island's beaches. While the logo was already designed, it needed to be put into a digestible poster format.
The Most Expensive Orgy in History
Durham University's theatre department commissioned me to create the poster for The Most Expensive Orgy in History.
Helix Customs
Helix Customs co. is a sustainable fashion brand, offering ethically sourced hand painted streetwear. I completed an initial branding project for them, setting out their logo, typeface and colour scheme, as well as some imagery.
Friends & Family
As a graphic designer, I am lucky enough to be inundated with requests from friends and family for personal logos, business cards and more. Here is a brief selection.
